Visitors will no longer be allowed at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hospital officials said Tuesday.
Special considerations will be made for:
• Visiting a loved one for end-of-life care.
• a visitor vital to the care of the patient for unique communication needs, etc.
• women giving birth may have one birthing partner or caregiver.
• pediatric patients who may have one parent, guardian or caregiver.
All patients must enter through the public emergency room entrance.
For patients with medical records requests, call Tennova at 931-502-1666 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Most requests will be able to be handled without having to go to the hospital.
People can visit in other methods, such as calling a patient’s room to talk with them, or the hospital has free Wi-Fi, so patients can use Facetime or another video communication app.
Anyone with questions about COVID-19 may call the Tennessee Department of Health public information line at 877-857-2945.
