The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be in the holiday spirit with a variety of programs that offer something for everyone this season.
To kick off the month, the library will feature a free showing of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” on Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.
Magician Scott Humston’s show will be Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. There will also be holiday crafts at 2 p.m. prior to the magic show.
The movie “Elf,” will be showing Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. Teens are invited to build gingerbread houses Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.
The 101st Airborne Division Band Brass Quintet and Acoustic Group will perform some holiday favorites Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. Tweens can enjoy their own holiday party and hot cocoa bar Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to show off their cookie decorating skills Dec. 20 at 2 p.m.
To wrap up the month and welcome a new decade, the library will feature a noon Year’s Eve party with no need to stay up late. Visit the library Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. for food, games, music and a balloon drop at noon.
