SPRING HILL—A two-day joint undercover operation by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation human trafficking unit special units, Spring Hill police, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, Homeland Security investigators and the office of 22nd District Attorney Brent Cooper resulted 18 suspects charged with seeking illicit sex from minors.
In a two-day period that started July 8, as part of an undercover investigation aimed at addressing human trafficking in Middle Tennessee, authorities placed several decoy advertisements on websites known to be linked to prostitution and commercial sex cases.
The operation’s focus was to identify and recover potential victims of human trafficking, as well as identify those seeking to engage in commercial sex acts with minors. As a result, authorities charged 18 men and booked them in at the Maury County Jail. The investigation remained ongoing, with additional charges pending.
Georgie George, 27, of Clarksville, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Marvin Sparkman, 29, of Columbia, was charged with solicitation of a minor. Steven McCanless, 26, of Culleoka, was charged with solicitation of a minor. Ketankumar Patel, 53, of Columbia, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Ivan Ashley, 51, of Dania, Florida, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
David Christopher May, 28, of Fayetteville, was charged with solicitation of a minor. Andrew Myung Kim, 40, of Franklin, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Bryce Lawson, 25, of Charles, Louisiana, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
Jeremiah McSpaddin, 36, of Spring Hill, was charged with solicitation of a minor. Brian Mitchell, 52, of Thompson’s Station, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Nabi Rahman, 33, of Nashville, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Patrick Harris, 32, of Murfreesboro, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
Matthew Brewer, 47, of Centerville, was charged with solicitation of a minor. Suleiman Musa Osman, 38, of Chattanooga, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Juan Gabriel Hernandez Eufracio, 38, of Huntsville, Alabama, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
Pablo Godines Cervantes, 51, of Columbia, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Haojie Wang, 32, of Brentwood, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor. Luis Diaz-Mendez, 27, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
