Police charged a third suspect reportedly connected to a November home invasion that left two people dead on Dandelion Drive in Clarksville.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation tweeted the capture of Rasheen Greenwood II on Dec. 30 and noted his arrest with the assistance of police in Sumter, South Carolina, where he was wanted for attempted murder.
Shortly before midnight on Nov. 15, Clarksville police officials said two men entered a home through a door left unlocked on Dandelion Drive, just north of Tiny Town Road.
During the incident, police said an altercation took place with the intruders, which resulted in the deaths of Deontreal Milligan, a resident, and also of suspected intruder Nicoli Jeffries.
Police said Jeffries was dressed in dark clothing that covered all of his body, including his hands and face, except for his eyes.
Clarksville police said with Greenwood’s capture, three suspects wanted in the case, including George Northington and Richard “Kenny” Woodson, are currently in custody, with the investigation still active.
