Fifteen salaried positions at Jostens, located at 451 International Blvd. in Clarksville, have been let go as part of a restructuring of management, according to Jostens officials.
The plant, which is Jostens’ largest printing facility, oversees the publishing of school yearbooks and also commercial printing.
Jeff Peterson, vice president of marketing and communication for Jostens, said the Clarksville plant employs a little more than 450 employees.
“All of these employees were offered severance and out-placement services, which will provide them assistance in finding other jobs,” Peterson said. “The management restructuring is part of an effort to better support all the schools we work with, which is about 20,000 schools across the country.”
Jostens has operated in Clarksville since the early 1970s.
In 2011, the plant moved to International Boulevard from its Highway 48 location.
