Clarksville police charged a home invasion suspect from Missouri in Clarksville.

Police officials have put out notice of a second suspect from the same city who could be in the area.

On July 22, Cape Girardeau, Missouri police investigators contacted a Clarksville detective and requested help to find Brandon Pratt.

Pratt has active warrants on file for second-degree murder and other charges that stemmed from an apparent home invasion that resulted in the homeowner killed, according to police.

Detectives, agents and tactical unit officers arrested Pratt two days later at about 3 a.m. on Sampson Street in Clarksville.

Police said Pratt was booked in at the Montgomery County Jail as a fugitive from justice and awaited extradition to Missouri.

Police continue to be on the lookout for Clarence Jamarr Smith, 28, who is wanted for second-degree murder in the same Cape Girardeau, Missouri killing case. Police said the two suspects are associates, but it’s not known if they are related.

Officials said they believe Smith is still in the Clarksville area.

No additional information was released on known homes or vehicles at the time.

Police warned to exercise caution if Smith is spotted and to call 911.
