Antwan Broadaway, 48 of Clarksville. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Foston Memorial. Interment Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West.
Antwan Deontony Broadaway was born on Wednesday, May 3 1972, on Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Joe and Ruby Broadaway. On Monday, April 19 2021, at the age of 48, he received his final earthly wings and now he is at rest upon those Pearly Gates.
Antwan was a 1992 graduate of H.H. Arnold High School, Wiesbaden Germany. Upon graduating from High School, he would serve the Army for 4 years as an Army Food Service Specialist and Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He also served in the National Guard in which he had tours to Kuwait and Afghanistan. While serving in the National Guard, he continued his formal education and received both his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Business Administration Degrees from American International University. He was last employed with Honeywell as a Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic until he became disabled.
Antwan was an outstanding son, father, brother and uncle. He was a friend to many, and his neighborhood was a safer place because of him. He would always look after the kids in his neighborhood. He was a very generous young man, if you needed something and had it, he would give it to you. He loved the Raider’s football team and was a true fan (#RN4L). He was a gun enthusiast and loved to collect weapons and going to the range. He would make the annual trip to “Brat” reunions throughout the United States, as he was a proud Brat and well known throughout the Brat community.
Antwan leaves fond memories to be cherished by his daughter, Kiana Broadaway; parents Joe and Ruby Broadaway all of Clarksville TN; sister, Tammy Broadaway, Charlotte NC; brother, Derek (Sheila) Tillman, Clarksville TN; nephews, Tavius Tillman and Terrel Tillman; aunts, Betty Campbell, Debbi Hubbard and Sharon Broadaway; uncles, Elijah (Althea) Tillman, Barnie Tillman, Darris Tillman, James Crowder and Archie (Karen) Hamilton, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
