A Celebration of Life service for Marisa Loraine Lindsey, 56, of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Bill Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. 

Marisa left this earthly world on Thursday, January 16, 2020 to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on May 15, 1963 in Ft. Lee, VA to Joseph, Sr. and Phyllis June (Boswell) Delle.

 

Marisa graduated from Northwest High School in 1981 and attended Iowa Central Community College graduating with honors with an Administrative Specialist degree in 2007. Marisa had worked as an Assistant Manager at the Sudden Service on Riverside Drive until her illness worsened.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Stacey Janel Lindsey; son, Jarrett Weston Lindsey; brother, Daniel Delle; nephews, David Jones and Jeremy Delle; brother-in-law, Roger Allen; and great-niece and nephew, Abigail and Mattaeus Diehl

She is survived by her loving daughters, Brianne (Theo) Rooding and Tyra (Daniel) Armstrong both of Clarksville; grandchildren, Miles and Elizabeth Rooding; siblings, Janene Allen of Murfreesboro, JD (Marsha) Delle of Scranton, AK, Susan (Bill) Jones of Madison, Barbara (Mickey) Pons of Antioch, and Michael Delle of Ft. Dodge, IA; 16 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews, and life long best friend and sister by choice Darcy (Walker) Holland of Ft. Dodge, IA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
