Freshman running back makes a break down the sideline during APSU's game against Cincinnati.

The OVC has announced its 2021 spring football schedule. The conference season was delayed from Fall 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, following suit with every other FCS conference. A handful of programs in the conferences opted out of the OVC season to play a full non-conference season in 2020.

Austin Peay will play seven games between late February and early April, all against conference foes. The OVC will allow each of their teams to play one non-conference game before the season kicks off.

All games are scheduled for Sundays unless otherwise noted. Home dates bolded.

Tennessee Tech, Feb. 21, 1 p.m.

Tennessee State, Feb. 28, 2 p.m.

Southeast Missouri, March 14, TBA

UT Martin, March 21, 2 p.m.

Jacksonville State, March 28, 2 p.m.

Murray State, Saturday, April 3, TBA

Eastern Illinois, April 11, 1 p.m.

The Governors went 6-1 against these teams in their OVC-winning 2019 season with the one loss coming at Tennessee State. APSU will look to repeat as conference champions and follow up their first-ever FCS Playoffs appearance with another.

APSU played three non-conference games in 2020, going 0-3 against Central Arkansas, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.
