Welcome back to the Main Street Preps Fab 15 Midstate girls basketball power rankings.
Here’s a look at how Nashville-area and Midstate teams stack up 1-15, across all classes.
1. Coffee County (24-1): The Lady Red Raiders are in the top spot over several deserving teams. Coffee County’s lone loss came against previously No. 1-ranked Blackman all the way back in November.

2. Cookeville (19-3): The Lady Cavaliers have an argument for No. 1 after a 41-37 win over previously top-ranked Blackman.

Next game: Tuesday vs. Wilson Central
3. Webb School (18-4): The Lady Feet could have reached the top spot with another win last week. For perspective, Webb played four games in seven days and went 1-1 in the ESPN Girls Basketball Invitational at Sidwell Friends School (Washington, D.C.).

4. Blackman (20-2): The Lady Blaze are adjusting after an injury to standout guard Kaelyn Flowers, but expect Blackman to stay among the Class 4A contenders.

5. Ensworth (14-3): The Lady Tigers remain the title favorite in Division II-AA and could make their own argument for No. 1 in the rankings.

6. York Institute (19-2): Even though they’re outside the Top 5, the Lady Dragons could state their case as the No. 1 team. They beat Monterey and Bledsoe County by a combined 115 points last week.

Next game: Tuesday at Sequatchie County
7. Livingston Academy (18-3): The Lady Wildcats haven’t lost since December and recently added a win over a good Creek Wood team.

8. MTCS (16-6): The Lady Cougars have won five of their last six games after last week’s win over Providence Christian.

Next game: Tuesday at BGA
9. Upperman (20-3): The Lady Bees’ lone loss of 2023, against Livingston Academy, is nothing to fret over. Upperman will get another shot at the Lady Wildcats on Feb. 7.

Next game: Tuesday vs. Macon County
10. Stewarts Creek (20-3): The Lady Red Hawks have won each of their last three games by 27 points or more.

11. Harpeth Hall (17-2): The Honeybears are second in the Division II-AA Middle Region after winning five consecutive games.

12. Rockvale (15-2): The Lady Rockets’ body of work is still impressive, but they must rebound from a 51-40 loss to Oakland.

13. Wayne County: Welcome to the rankings, Lady Wildcats. Wayne County earned it with an unbeaten record and an offense that is averaging more than 70 points over the last five games.

14. Nashville Christian (23-2): Ezell-Harding upset the Lady Eagles 46-40 on Friday. That may be a sign of Ezell-Harding’s talent.

15. White County (17-5): Back-to-back losses to good teams — Cumberland County and Upperman — weren’t the end of the world, but they hurt the Lady Warriors in the district standings.
