For the fourth straight season, the Clarksville Lady Wildcats are district champions.

Despite graduating a large chunk of the class that led them to their previous three, the 2021 Lady Wildcats cruised on Thursday night to a 3-0 victory over the Rossview Lady Hawks, winning in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-14.

District MVP Krista Haake was the star of the night, finishing with 10 kills, three blocks, five aces and three digs for CHS.

The Lady ‘Cats will head into the region tournament 21-8 with a final district record of 10-0. They’ll face the Northwest Lady Vikings on Tuesday, Oct. 12 for a spot in the Region 7-AAA championship at CHS. The two teams met less that two weeks ago, with CHS claiming a 3-2 victory.

Rossview will also play on Tuesday at CHS, facing the Dickson County Lady Cougars. It will be their first meeting of the season.
