“All the games were close,” Sycamore coach Larry Hunter said. “Montgomery Central played really good defense last night and they’ve really improved during the year. We served well and played good defense. Unforced errors at the net were what hurt us.”
Sycamore has finished second in the district. The Lady War Eagles will host the district junior varsity tournament on Saturday at Sycamore High School. The first varsity tournament game will be at Montgomery Central on October 4. Sycamore will play the winner of the play-in game between the third and sixth-seeded teams.
