The Clarksville Wildcats visited the Northwest Vikings on Tuesday, Nov. 23, coming away with a 71-45 victory.
Clarksville took a 22-point lead into halftime and, after growing their advantage after the break, substituted their starting lineup for their reserves for the remainder of the game. All 10 Wildcats that played scored at least once, with guard JJ Wheat leading the pack with 23 points despite not playing for most of the second half.
The win moves them to 2-1 on the season with their next game coming on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Sycamore.
Northwest struggled offensively, especially with turnovers. They were paced by Hagen Albright’s 12 points, with eight other Vikings getting in on the scoring. They continue to search for their first win with a Nov. 30 trip to Northeast on the horizon.
